I'll take it. Ate more than my typical yesterday (berries, cream cheese toast) so was hoping for a drop still vs an up. Got all the prep work done for the soups the last couple days so today should be able to throw it together and pressure can it and any broth left over to put on the shelf. Ham/bean and chicken/veg for the boy or for a cheat day. Mostly the boy.
Need to grocery shop today so I have no excuses this week. I'm going to actually go outside (shocker!) and maybe even take a walk around the block. Between working at home, covid and laziness I find myself staying in almost all the time. I'm getting boring. Need to change that.

I'm grateful for drops. Especially frequent drops ;) This is the lowest I've seen in this "go-round". When I got back from NY in Aug, I saw 226. My daughter gets married in 20 days and I hope to be 185.
I also love a bonus Saturday! I did sneak in some work yesterday but also made a batch of veg broth and read a book. I was asleep by 10 and this morning had WEIRD dreams. You know the kind where you wake up, say that was weird, go back to sleep and DO THE SAME ONE AGAIN??? Yup. Even had a different one in the middle of the repeats. By 8am, I was ok with getting up. Cause apparently I had a court case that I was supposed to present to and I was NOT ready.

Nice to start the year with a good loss. Keep it going, body!
People in the neighborhood were doing fireworks for over 5 hours last night. I think I fell asleep a bit after midnight but the noise was still going. I did finish 2 books last night though and made chicken broth (ended up being 5 quarts). Maybe I'll make soup for the boys today and drop that off. They don't cook much and money is short.
So many opportunities for this day. And really, all we have is a series of "today" and our imagination for what a year or a month or a week may hold. We give it the meaning. So decide what you want for this "today" and go find it. If you don't succeed, try again on your next "today."

Nice! Keep going, body. Let's do that again tomorrow, ok?
2 presentations and (hopefully) and early day today. Haven't made the broth yet but that still sounds good. I did make an "LT" sandwich last night (zero carb bread) with mayo that wasn't bad, even without the tomato. The bread when it's toasted gets pretty sawdusty so I only toasted it long enough to make it not frozen. Pretty close to what I wanted and lots of mayo on it so that and the lettuce helped. And, you know, there was bacon so...
Today is the last day of 2020. Lots happened (and didn't happen this year) but for all the crappy things, there were good things too. My kid got married, a niece got engaged, my daughter got engaged, my kid got a new house, I got a new job, my mom got sick but didn't die and went home. And I think we all learned to appreciate each other in a new way. Now if we could just learn to be nice. All of these are so sweet to my heart. I wouldn't give back 2020.

Well that's nice. Maybe another couple drops like that daily? I'd be ok with that. Catch up for all that time the weight was playing around lol.
A little slower today. Need coffee and heat (freezing today). Might take the chicken bones and make a pot of broth today from the Christmas carcass. Sounds pretty yummy right now. Only 2 presentations today so far and 1 staff review. Hoping I can get some of the things I'd like to get done accomplished today instead of the have-to's. We shall see.
Oh. And the $600 stimulus is showing pending in my account. Check your banks. Maybe you'll get yours early too.
