Just for fun
My favorite healthy swaps
Greek yogurt for sour cream
Coconut oil for butter
Unsweetened almond milk for milk
Quinoa for rice
spaghetti squash for pasta
black bean spaghetti for pasta
Store bought pizza crust and top it myself instead of ordered pizza.
Homemade taco seasoning salt free mix instead of a packet
Ground turkey in place of ground beef (cheaper)
I sometimes still use butter,brown rice,and healthy pastas like healthy request variety.
I also add ground flaxseed to things now in place of wheat germ. I think wheat germ bothered my gut. I also have had to give up cauliflower, broccoli,apples,chickpeas,and chilli. All foods I love but my gut does not agree.

Yesterday was my daughter's 9th birthday party.There were a few people there that hadn't seen me in a while. I have to say I was almost shocked at their positive reactions. I guess I have changed a lot but it's been 16 months of continuous change for me. Like in my profile pic, I keep looking at my after pic and can't even believe it's me lol So I understand their reactions, sometimes I don't see it myself until I see a picture of me. I feel so great being healthy and inspiring others.

Really exciting nsv for me today. I ran a 5k in 36:53 time. Beat my record by about 6 minutes. Longest I've ever ran at one time!I ran 3k then walked .5k and then ran the remaining 1.5k. It was so awesome! ! I just did this alone too through my neighborhood ,a personal goal I wanted to do this year by September. I crushed it baby!!

NSV Have really gotten me through my weightloss this time around. In the past I always let the scale get the best of me but not this time. I made goals like running, then getting a better time running a mile, fitting into clothes and also gave up drinking alcohol. Which was something I really needed to do for my mental health and physical health. I've gained 40 pounds and lost 40 pounds over and over since I was 18 years old. I knew this time I really had to dig deep and change what made me gain the weight in the first place.I am very proud of myself even more this time because I know its a lifetime commitment,I'm so happy and healthy.
