Wahoo! Don't know where this came from, maybe because I just wasn't expecting it. Especially because I really endulged last night! We went to Longhorn Steakhouse, I had some grilled white cheddar stuffed mushrooms, a caesar salad - no croutons, and a crab stuffed filet with veggies. I didn't even have any leftovers to bring home. Drank water and no dessert. Felt pretty good about that, and even better that I am down from last week!
Dogwood Fest today, and a concert with friends tonight!

P90X - Week 3 Day 1.
Part of getting fit is the fact that your body gets more efficient with more work load. Compared to a week ago, today's same work out resulted more reps performed in less time and less calories burned (481). I guess this means that I need to try to step it up a little more!
Really liking what I see as far as the body fat goes!
Also, it's been one month since I last had alcohol! 2 more months to go! I think it's been good to let my body rest from it. I really wanted to see what I could do in this time without it. I will of course go back to my wiley ways, pool time just wouldn't be the same without my vodka crystal light!
Today is my Friday, so glad to have a 3 day weekend !

Happy Hump Day!
P90X Week 2 done! Kenpo was good this morning, 658 calories in a hour are gone!
Week Three starts tomorrow. Next week I will be adding some classes to the mix, since I bought them in December and haven't used them yet and they expire in June. Not much time to use up 18 workouts, but I will give it my darnedest!
Things are going pretty well weight and body fat-wise. The weight seems to be stable and the body fat seems to be going down!
half way through to the weekend! Yippee!

P90X - Legs/Back done and down 680 calories! And man oh man do my legs and butt hurt! I don't think I could do another lunge or squat right now if you paid me, well, maybe if there was money involved, but it probably wouldn't be pretty. If this doesn't ease up before tomorrow morning, Kenpo will be very interesting to say the very least.
Had a great night bowling. I am not great or anything, so don't laugh, but new high score is 145! I was very excited about this! I wanted 150 last night, but that will do.
My morning weigh in was great, too! The weight is stabilizing, which with the addition of P90X is fantabulous, but more importantly, the BF% is going down. Now this is motivation!
Now, time to get to work. I have a very busy day full of meetings!

Good morning and happy Monday!
Got my workout in nice and early - P90X - Shoulders and Arms. Not quite the calorie burn as yesterday (488 in 50 minutes) but I'll take it! I've got bowling tonight anyway.
About to complete week 2 and I feel I'm making good progress. I even see my little muscles wanting to come out again! Now that's some motivation to keep going!
I bought a series of boot camp classes a while back (read: last fall) and I think I am going to use them starting in week 4. They expire soon and I want to make sure that I don't lose them! I suppose that is good enough reason to hurry up and use them. Never mind the fact that it would help boost my fitness level if I did P90X
and
the boot camp classes!
