Grrrr. Not so happy today. For the passed two days I have weighed in 4 pounds over Saturday's weigh in!!!
I started adding some carbs back but nothing crazy (70-116 gr range), and I've been working out. This is driving me crazy! The other insane thing is that the BF% is staying constant, if not 1% less. I guess that's the positive thing I should be remembering. Oh yeah, the other thing is that it's supposed to be my TOM tomorrow-Saturday. So hopefully THAT is what's caused this and it will go away in a few days. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Tomorrow ends week 5 of P90X, almost the half way mark. I feel so strong now. Getting up at 4:30 is torture, but I can say, I do think it's been worth it. I'm still trying to get my butt over to do the group fitness classes in the evening, but it's just a struggle! Especially since I get up before the roosters, to find energy 12-13 hours later is a test!
Looking forward to another 4 day weekend. Hopefully the weather is nice so I can some pool time in! Make it a great week!

P90X - Week 4 complete! This concludes the first 4 weeks!
According to my morning numbers comparing Day 1 to Day 28, I have lost 4.77 pounds of fat and gained 3.77 pounds of muscle! I'll take that.
Now on to the second Phase!
I'm definitely changing my eating for the next 28 days. I need to add in some carbs. I am going to be shooting for a 40% Pro- 30% Carb and 30% Fat ratio. I will also be adding in classes about 2-3 times per week. Let's see what this does!

Core Synergistics today. Again, not quite the calorie burn I like (500 calories in 57 minutes). Have I become a calorie burn snob? I'm not sure in which world that burning at least 500 calories an hour is insufficient, probably just the one in my head.
Almost done with week 4 and the 30 day mark (Friday)! I will be taking measurements on that day as I didn't do it at the beginning except for my initial weigh in and bf.
I am going to really focus on this next 30 days. I want to see how much change I can get in that time. I'm also going to re-assess my eating strategy. I think I have been getting too much protein and fat and not enough carbs in the form of veggies and whole grains. I am thinking about a reverse 40-30-30 where 40% is protein. Any thoughts on this?

Happy Monday!
This morning's workout was Stretch X. Amazingly, I still burned almost 300 calories in just under an hour! I plan on doing something else when I get home though to burn a few more calories. It just doesn't feel right to only stretch. I know I am weird. And I am still so sore from Core Synergistics workout 2 days ago! My abs are killing me! Ugh!
While the scale may not be budging, I can tell that I am an eensty teensty bit smaller. I put on a sleeveless knit top this morning that I typically don't like to wear because it hugs in the wrong places, but this morning, it looked good. :)
On another tandem, this week will be 6 weeks with no alcohol! Now I can look at this a couple of ways. 1) Great detox time for the ole body. 2) How could I not have lost more weight! All those empty calories not having an effect should be having an effect! 3) I'll be a cheap date the next time I have a glass or 2 of wine or vodka/soda!
