I've followed my diet "reasonably well". I always strive to eat within 2000/2200 calories a day on a "cheat day". Sometimes I'll eat something I know I shouldn't but I'm only human. If I want a cookie I'll eat one instead of all of them like I use to because I know it can lead me back to where I was very quickly. Over the last eight months I have gone on my strict weight loss regiment for weeks at a time and lose no weight. I have plateaued and I just can't seem to get past it. It is extremely frustrating yet I can't give up. This is for life and not a temporary goal. I am doing his for my health and not for vanity. Hopefully I will get past this stagnant period soon. The key is to stay focused and motivated. I started out with a 3 year plan to reach my goal of 185 and I have another 14 months to get there. It's not a "do or die" but I want to achieve it. Ironically, according to the BMI charts at 185 I am still "Overweight" but at that weight I have a 25" waste, a 42" chest and I can see a definite 6 pack shadow. BTW I am male. I need to do it for me. I refuse to give up. My life depends on it.

I had some health issues that kept me from working out for a month. I ate like Henry the 8th. I figured I gain 15+ pounds. I was only up 4 as of today. I'm comfortable with that.
