My weight is staying steady at the moment. Need to eat a low residue diet now to help my u.c. calm down. I'm on a lot of meds too that should help. The hardest change for me is going to be no more nuts or seeds which cuts out a lot of things I always eat. Thankfully I like a big variety of foods so I just need to tweek my diet a bit. I had pecans and raisins on my salad yesterday and my stomach was really feeling it last night. Just trial and error time. I already have a list of many foods I can't tolerate mostly high fiber foods. I cut out spicy food years ago along with broccoli, cauliflower, chickpeas, refried beans. I also love black bean pasta but can only eat half a serving. I've made black bean brownies in the past and have really regretted eating those. No more whole grain breads either. My next test is going to be trying to eat oatmeal which I hope I can tolerate. Not today though. My guts are still very "angry" as the doc put it.

Today is my colonoscopy. Wish me luck. I really do not want to repeat this process . I did ok yesterday on the liquid diet but have been told not to drink after midnight. Now I'm feeling it. My stomach is concaving! 10:15 cannot come fast enough! I really cannot believe how much the scale went down since yesterday too! I was already down 4 lbs this week so I didn't expect 4 more lbs. I know a lot of it will return but I'm going to try and keep eating extra clean and stay in the 130's!

Things are looking up. I changed my attitude which was very negative and depressed to positive and thankful. Things could be worse right? I enjoyed the beautiful weather we had here yesterday. I walked my son to and from school and went to my daughter's baseball game. It felt great just to get out of the house. My back seems to be feeling better and no more muscle relaxers. They were what was making me miserable during the day even though I only took one at bedtime. It was like a dragged out effect made me so drowsy the next day. I only took 2 pain pills yesterday too! Yae! I think walking and sunshine helped. Also very happy my weight is going down too. I also think the iron pills are starting to make a difference. Have a great weekend everyone!
